Pharmig 32nd annual conference to feature Cherwell

The cleanroom specialist will highlight a range of products and offer demonstrations at this year’s conference

Cleanroom microbiology solutions specialist Cherwell Laboratories will be at Pharmig’s 32nd Annual Conference to present its range of products in environmental monitoring (EM) and process validation in sterile medicinal product manufacturing.

Cherwell will be highlighting its products alongside its parent company, manufacturer AnalytiChem, with the aim to build knowledge of Annex 1 and the potential challenges it brings to sterile medicinal product manufacturers.

“We look forward to introducing our colleagues from AnalytiChem to our pharmaceutical microbiology customers and some useful discussions on how our cleanroom microbiology solutions can be tailored to meet specific needs,” said Emma Millburn, director of sales and marketing at Cherwell.

Topics addressed at this year’s Pharmaceutical Microbiology Conference include the impact of EU GMP Annex 1’s release and other regulatory updates, AI for GMP and rapid microbial testing methodology.

Available for demonstration at the conference is Cherwell’s SAS microbial samplers, characterised by its easy data management and accurate monitoring of controlled areas.

Cherwell’s BioAerosol monitoring system (BAMS), designed to meet pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, will also be available for demonstration. The portable monitor uses laser-induced fluorescence to differentiate biologic from inert particles, with viable particles emitting fluorescence.

Attendees will also be able to see Cherwell’s Redipor Beta Bag, which ensures safe transfer of ready-to-use gamma-irradiated prepared media, into a sterile manufacturing environment. Cherwell’s Redipor plastic bottle-prepared media, as well as other Redipor prepared media, will also be on display.

“In addition to our standard Redipor prepared media range that we manufacture in the UK, we also offer a fully bespoke service for products and packaging for any aspect of our customers’ EM programs,” added Millburn. “The Cherwell team is always very happy to discuss and advise.”

Pharmig’s 32nd Annual Conference will be in Nottingham 20th to 21st November featuring the theme “Hot Topics in Pharmaceutical Microbiology”.
