Easy-Tec Pallet Inverters to its range of load handling equipment. The compact and highly durable system is suitable for transferring loads from wood to plastic pallets, or for switching to higher quality in-house pallets.
Because the Orion Easy-Tec runs on a low-powered electric motor, not only is it very economical to run; the absence of hydraulics and therefore contaminating oil makes this system suitable for food and drinks manufacturers and distributors. Also, the capability of switching loads from wood to plastic pallets or slip sheets is an additional hygiene-related attraction for food industry applications.
The Easy-Tec Pallet Inverter is a fully-enclosed system so there is no need for a protective barrier. It is accessible on three sides by both fork-lift truck (FLT) and warehouse operatives, and is also simple to operate using a remote-control unit. Productivity is therefore high, with a potential capacity of up to 60palletsperhour following a straightforward operating cycle:
* A FLT-operator first places a pallet on a load-rotator.
* An operator then uses a remote-control box to turn the load by 90degrees.
* Cartons, boxes etc on the pallet move horizontally by 6cm.
* An operator removes the wooden pallet and replaces it with a plastic (or other preferred) pallet type.
