Routine CHN microanalysis of difficult sample types

Warwick Analytical Service (WAS) has developed a range of CHN microanalysis methodologies allowing them to routinely produce precise and accurate percentage Carbon, Hydrogen and Nitrogen data from a range of difficult samples.

This information is provided in a new application note detailing the Warwick Analytical methodologies for handling volatile liquids, air sensitive compounds, refractory materials, samples with elemental interferences as well as inhomogeous and bulky samples.

Unlike other designs of CHN analyser, the Exeter Analytical Model 440 is able to remove all residue between each analysis as opposed to simply combusting the sample on top of the residue from previous analyses. This combined with absolute control over combustion parameters and static design of the Model 440 enables routine high accuracy and precision for all CHN determinations.

Operating in an ISO 17025 and GMP compliant environment following strict operating procedures ensures Warwick Analytical Service delivers top quality CHN data consistently.
