Join Lonza’s free webinar on convenient and efficient non-viral iPSC generation

Recent advances have shown that various adult cell types can be reprogrammed to a pluripotent state by introduction of stem cell-associated genes using transfection.

The resulting induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) appear to be phenotypically and functionally equivalent to human embryonic stem cells. Lonza is hosting a free webinar entitled “Convenient and Efficient Non-viral iPSC Generation” to teach about Nucleofection™, a proven transfection technology for iPSC generation. Two 45-minute sessions will be followed by live Q&As. The first webinar is scheduled for 18 June 2013 at 10 AM CEST (Berlin). The second session will be held on 19 June 2013 at 2 PM EDT (New York). For more details, please visit www.lonza.com/webinar4.

The ability of iPSCs to self-renew in culture and their potential to differentiate into specific cell types makes them a powerful research tool. Presenters will outline the basics of the Nucleofector™ Technology and discuss the use of Nucleofection™ for the generation of iPSC derived from various cell types, such as fibroblast and blood cells, as well as the transfection of iPSC.

All those interested, but unable to join the webinar, please visit Lonza’s transfection page on www.lonza.com/ipsc for more information.

Professionals are invited to attend the free webinar by registering for their preferred date:
