InSphero and INTEGRA announce co-operation

Integra Biosciences and InSphero AG, a pioneering developer of advanced three-dimensional microtissue models, have announced that they will co-operate on providing high performance liquid-handling solutions for 3D cell culture.

Ernst Freydl, Director of Marketing at INTEGRA Biosciences commented: "Initial customer feedback on systems integrating our Viaflo electronic pipettors with Insphero's unique hanging drop cell culture system to provide fast and economic 3D microtissue cultivation has been extremely positive'. He added 'INTEGRA knowledge of the cell culture market, expertise in liquid handling and global reach perfectly compliment the innovative flow of 3D cell culture solutions being developed by Insphero - our cooperation offers considerable future scope."
